Dr. Charles Cassidy

Dr. Cassidy completed his undergraduate degree in engineering at the University of Notre Dame and went on to complete law school and obtain a master’s degree in philosophy at Georgetown University. He practiced law with Catholic Charities of Los Angeles for two years before serving with Catholic Relief Services in Moldova for one year. He completed medical school at the University of California San Francisco and a residency in family medicine at John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth, TX. During residency he was trained in Natural Procreative Technology at the Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE, and obtained advanced training in obstetrics, surgery, ultrasound, HIV, and tropical medicine.

After residency, he volunteered in a rural Haitian hospital for 6 months before moving to Green Bay to begin work with the St Gianna clinic in 2019.

At the St Gianna Clinic, Dr. Cassidy provides family medicine and women’s care services. Dr. Cassidy says his patients should expect to be part of a shared decision-making process.

“I see myself as an advocate for patients in a health care system that is increasingly difficult to manage,” said Dr. Cassidy. “I see physicians as the natural attorneys of the poor, that’s why I make an extra effort to help patients get the care they need.”

Dr. Cassidy provides routine care for children and adults, as well as general obstetrics and gynecology services. As a Certified Fertility Care Medical Consultant, Dr. Cassidy is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic and reproductive health conditions using the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY®.

“It is my goal to provide up-to-date information, as well as recommendations, to help patients decide what the best course of action might be,” said Dr. Cassidy.

Dr. Cassidy is fluent in both English and Spanish, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine
