Dr. Clint Olson

Dr. Olson was born and raised in Wisconsin. After studying Psychology and Spanish at Pepperdine University, he returned home to attend medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed residency training at In His Image Family Medicine Residency in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has since worked as a primary care physician in Wisconsin and Colorado. He has also worked in the VA medical system and done medical mission trips around the globe.

Dr Olson has a particular interest in biomedical ethics. He holds a BA in philosophy, has done graduate studies in theology and continues to take courses on Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.

He states, “As a physician I try to care for the whole person, body and soul, and see the dignity of each individual, created in the image of God.”

In addition to his psychology degree, Dr Olson received residency training in behavioral medicine. He comments, “It’s important to acknowledge the connections between physical, spiritual and mental health.”

What Dr Olson says about being a family doctor: “What I love about family medicine is the emphasis on wholistic care from birth to death, the opportunity to care for families and building relationships with patients.”

Dr Olson’s philosophy on making healthcare decisions: “While it is important to follow medical guidelines, I also acknowledge that each patient needs an individualized treatment plan. My goal is to educate my patients so they can make the best decision for their own health.”
